Trick or Treat!

Just Like a Real Live Baby

For her birthday, Kaylee got a water baby. It's supposed to feel "just like a real live baby," and I guess it does, although it's hard to tell when we have a real live one in the house. She is very caring with her new doll and wants to make sure every one holds it "just like a real baby." She was trying to eat dinner last night, but told me how difficult it was to eat and hold a baby at the same time, which is no news to me. She gave the doll to her daddy and gave him very specific instructions on how he needed to hold it. Here's Steve watching TV with the real live baby.

Kaylee's Birthday Party

After eating out for my birthday on Friday night, we had Kaylee's party on Saturday. She decided on a Tinker bell party.




The girls decorated their own fairy wings. Here is a picture of Kaylee with her wings, and of course they decided Bailey needed some too. She was a trooper.

Happy Birthday to Us

Mine and Kaylee's birthdays were this weekend. We went out to eat Friday at a Japanese Steak House to celebrate. They made us stand up while they sang and played crazy instruments and Kaylee got to beat the drum. Here's a picture. It's not very flattering, but it's the only one we got.

Bring on the Rain

We bought this cozy cover for Wyatt's car seat since we are now officially in the rainy season. I really don't know why they call it the rainy season since you only see the sun for maybe 2 months. I'm not sure that even the cozy cover would have been much protection from the hail we had yesterday.
